Abstract:It has been found that an average egg weight decreased from 166.55 g to 154.13 g during the egg production period. The egg weight losses in the eggs at the end of the egg production period amounted to 8.59 percent during 27 days and were about 1 percent higher than the losses in the eggs laid in the initial egg production phase. The hatch from the eggs set and fertilized was very high at the end in comparison with earlier egg production phases. The development of chorioallantois between hatching days 7 and 9 was slower than between days 11 and 13. After 13 days, chorioallantois was developed in 71-74 percent under the egg circumference. A faster developmnet of chorioallantois occurred in smaller eggs and it was associated with better gosling hatching results. The weight of goslings went down with a decreasing egg weight
